Music Composition: Nocturne in D minor

 

Nocturne in D minor was a short piece I composed in high school. A nocturne is a short romantic piece that is evocative of the night. My composition is laced in musical ornaments ending in a Tierce de Picardie, pertaining to musical characteristics of the Baroque period.

Graffiti Cafe by Studio Mode, Varna Bulgaria

The interior of the building is laced with curved wooden lengths the forms a sense of natural continuity within the building. This image depicts the rear zone of the cafe, with the purpose of the roof design to create a separation between the public and private zone of the cafe and "reducing depth of space while keeping the panorama."

Hokitika Gorge, New Zealand

Hokitika Gorge in New Zealand is a scenic reserve that holds crystal blue waters that vary in shade throughout the day. As it is sourced from fresh waters from the mountains, the water temperatures are drastically low, reaching 7 degrees celsius. The deep blue flow of water in this environment is contrasted by the lush greenery and muted grey stones.
